अहिवारा नगर पालिका अध्यक्ष व भाजपा दुर्ग जिला महामंत्री नटवर ताम्रकार ने छत्तीसगढ़ संस्कृति के लोक पर्व छेर छेरा त्योहार के अवसर पर प्रदेश वासियों को हार्दिक शुभकामनाएँ वा बधाई देते हुए कहा कि छत्तीसगढ़ के त्योहार को छत्तीसगढ़ी में तिहार कहा जाता है “छेरछेरा” छत्तीसगढ़ का एक प्रमुख त्योहार है। नई फसल के घर आने की खुशी में अन्नदान और फसल उत्सव के रूप में पौष मास की पूर्णिमा को मनाया जाता है।
इस दिन युवक युवतियां घर-घर जाकर डंडा नृत्य करते हैं और अन्न का दान माँगते हैं। धान मिंसाई हो जाने के चलते गाँव में घर-घर धान का भंडार होता है, जिसके चलते लोग छेर छेरा माँगने वालों को दान करते हैं।‘छेर छेरा ! मई कोठी के धान ला हेर हेरा !’ यही आवाज़ आज के दिन प्रदेश के ग्रामीण अंचल में गूंजता है और दान के रूप में धान और नगद राशि दिया जाता है । छेरछेरा तिहार मुख्यतःछत्तीसगढ़ में मनाया जाने वाला पर्व है क्योंकि धान का कटोरा कहलाने वाला भारत का एक मात्र प्रदेश छत्तीसगढ़ एक कृषि प्रधान प्रदेश है यहाँ पर ज्यादातर लोग किसान वर्ग के लोग निवास करते हैं कृषि ही जीवकोपार्जन का मुख्य साधन है ।
श्री ताम्रकार ने कहा कि,छत्तीसगढ़ में छेरछेरा त्योहार का अलग ही महत्व है। सदियों से मनाया जाने वाला यह पारंपरिक लोक पर्व की अलौकिक त्योहार है क्योंकि इस दिन रुपये पैसे नहीं बल्कि अन्ना का दान करते हैं धन की पवित्रता के लिए मनाया जाता है। छेर-छेरा पर्व पर ग्रामीण अंचल के लोगो को कोरोना महामारी का ध्यान रखनें वा आवश्यक गाईडलाईन ला पालन करने के लिए निवेदन भी किए हैं।
