राष्ट्रीय बालिका दिवस के अवसर पर प्रदेश में बालिकाओं की सुरक्षा, अधिकार, सुविधाओं, सम्मान और आजादी के प्रति लोगों को जागरूक करने विभिन्न आयोजन किए गए। इस दौरान लोगों को बालिकाओं के प्रति भेदभाव न कर उन्हें लड़को के समान आगे बढ़ने के अवसर प्रदान करने हेतु प्रेरित किया गया।
प्रदेश के सभी जिलों में जन-जागरूकता के लिए स्कूलों, कालेजों, आंगनबाड़ियों और पंचायतों में विभिन्न आयोजन हुए। इसमें रंगोली, निबंध, वाद-विवाद प्रतियोगिता के माध्यम से बेटी बचाव बेटी पढ़ाओं का संदेश देने के साथ ही बालिका अधिकारों के बारे में बताया गया। इस अवसर पर बालिकाओं और किशोरियों की स्वास्थ जांच भी की गई। बालिकाओं को उनके अधिकारों, शिक्षा, स्वास्थ और पोषण के संबंध में जानकारी दी गई और आगे बढ़ने के लिए प्रेरित किया गया। रैली के माध्यम से भी लोगों में बालिकाओं के प्रति सकारात्मक वातावरण बनाने का प्रयास किया गया।
