कोरबा। उत्तरप्रदेश में विधानसभा चुनाव में कांग्रेस छत्तीसगढ़ मॉडल पेश कर रही है। उसने अपने घोषणापत्र में कोरोना काल के बकाया बिजली बिल को माफ करने का वादा किया है। छत्तीसगढ़ में कांग्रेस सरकार को पहले इस वादे पर अमल करना चाहिए।

यह कहना है मार्क्सवादी कम्युनिस्ट पार्टी के जिला सचिव प्रशांत झा का। उनका कहना है कि हकीकत यह है कि आम जनता को बिजली समस्या से राहत देने के बजाए हर साल बिजली की दरें बढ़ाई जा रही है, घरेलू और लघु व्यवसायी उपभोक्ताओं को अनाप-शनाप बिजली बिल थमाए जा रहे हैं और कनेक्शन काटकर उन्हें अंधेरे में ढकेला जा रहा है।

माकपा नेता झा यूपी चुनाव में कांग्रेस के बिजली समस्या पर उसके वादे पर अपनी प्रतिक्रिया दे रहे थे। उल्लेखनीय है कि गरीबों के बिजली बिल माफ करने, काटे गए कनेक्शनों को जोड़ने तथा ग्राम स्तर पर शिविर लगाकर बिजली बिल सुधारने की मांग पर माकपा कोरबा में व्यापक अभियान चला रही है और इस समस्या पर उसने आंदोलन की चेतावनी भी दी है।

उन्होंने कहा कि बिजली वितरण कंपनी ने वर्तमान दरों पर मुनाफा होने के बावजूद पिछले बकाया बिल को जोड़कर अपने को घाटे में दिखाया है और इस वित्त वर्ष में फिर औसतन बिजली दरों में 25% वृद्धि का प्रस्ताव किया है। कांग्रेस सरकार को बिजली कंपनी के इस प्रस्ताव को खारिज करने की घोषणा करनी चाहिए। साथ ही सभी गरीब उपभोक्ताओं के कोरोना काल के बकाया बिजली बिल माफ करने की घोषणा करनी चाहिए, ताकि प्रियंका के वादे पर उत्तरप्रदेश की आम जनता भी भरोसा कर सके।

उन्होंने कहा कि भाजपा शासन में किये गए विद्युत मंडल के विखंडन को खत्म करने का वादा कांग्रेस ने यहां की जनता से किया था, जिसे उसने पूरा नहीं किया। बिजली दरों में वृद्धि का एक बहुत बड़ा कारण विद्युत मंडल का विखंडन है। बिजली वितरण निगम के अधिकारियों की बड़े बिजली चोरों और राजनेताओं से सीधी मिलीभगत है और बिल के हर साल हजारों करोड़ रुपये वसूले नहीं जाते। फिर इस बकाया राशि को घाटे में दिखाकर बिजली की दरें बढ़ाई जाती है और आम जनता की जेब से इसकी भरपाई की जाती है।
