उदयपुर। श्रीनाथजी की नगरी नाथद्वारा की पहचान अब भगवान शिव की प्रतिमा को लेकर भी होगी। अभी तक लोगों को कम ही जानकारी है कि विश्व की सबसे ऊंची प्रतिमा उदयपुर संभाग के नाथद्वारा में स्थित है। इसकी ऊंचाई तीन सौ इक्यावन फीट है। इसमें लिफ्ट के जरिए 280 फीट तक दर्शनार्थी जा सकेंगे। इससे पहले भगवान की सबसे ऊंची प्रतिमा का गौरव नेपाल के भगवान कैलाशनाथ मंदिर स्थित शिव प्रतिमा को था, जो 143 फीट ऊंचाई की है।

नाथद्वारा स्थित गणेश टेकरी पर लीन शिवजी की प्रतिमा का निर्माण नाथद्वारा के ही उद्यमी मदन पालीवाल ने कराया है जो मिराज उद्योग के मालिक हैं। इस प्रतिमा का निर्माण अमेरिका की उसी कंपनी को दिया गया था, जिसने अमेरिका की स्टेच्यू ऑफ लिबर्टी को तैयार किया। सौ करोड़ की लागत से बनी यह प्रतिमा अपनी ऊंचाई की वजह से बीस किलोमीटर दूर से ही दिखाई देने लगती है। इसका निर्माण पूरा हो चुका है और माना जा रहा है कि इस सालअगस्त में इसका लोकार्पण किया जाएगा। इस प्रतिमा के निर्माण में 2600 टन स्टील, 2601 टन लोहा, 26 हजार 618 क्यूबिक मीटर सीमेंट और कॉन्क्त्रीट लग चुकी है
प्रोजेक्ट के सीनियर मैनेजर मुनीस नासा बताते हैं कि प्रतिमा की डिजाइन का विंड टनल टेस्ट आस्ट्रेलिया में कराया गया, जो ढाई सौ किलोमीटर की रफ्तार तक की हवा झेलने में पूरी तरह सक्षम है। बरसात और धूप से बचाने के लिए इस पर जिंक की कोटिंग की गई है।

इस प्रतिमा का कॉपर कलर किया गया है, जो बीस साल तक फीका नहीं पड़ेगा। प्रतिमा में चार लिफ्ट हैं जिनके जरिए दो दर्जन से अधिक श्रद्धालु एक बार में दो सौ अस्सी फीट ऊंचाई तक जा सकेंगे। प्रतिमा के अंदर ही पांच-पांच हजार के दो वाटर हॉल बनाए गए हैं। इनमें से एक भगवान शिव के अभिषेक के लिए काम लिया जाएगा, बल्कि दूसरा आग बुझाने में उपयोग होगा।
