पत्नी की पिटाई करने वाले वरिष्ठ आईपीएस अधिकारी पुरुषोत्तम शर्मा को मंगलवार को निलंबित कर दिया गया गृह विभाग से जारी निलंबन आदेश में कहा गया, पुरुषोत्तम शर्मा का जारी स्पष्टीकरण और असंतोषप्रद है उनकी पदस्थापना पी एच क्यू में की गई है ।
सरकार ने आईपीएस का वीडियो वायरल होने के बाद सोमवार को उन्हें नोटिस जारी कर मंगलवार तक स्पष्टीकरण मांगा था शर्मा ने जवाब में लिखा कि उनके वीडियो पूरी योजना के साथ बनाए गए यह दिखाने की कोशिश की गई कि उन्होंने पत्नी के साथ मारपीट की है जबकि उन्होंने सिर्फ बचाव किया ।
