ऊतई मातरोडीह ग्राम में धान की फसल खराबे होने के कारण कृषक श्री दुर्गेश निषाद युवक ने खेत में पेड़ पर रस्सी से फांसी लगाकर आत्महत्या कर लिया। सांसद श्री विजय बघेल ने सुबह सुबह घटना की जानकारी मिलते ही पहुंचकर पिडित के पिता श्री डिल्लन निषाद, भाई श्री सोहन निषाद से संन्तावना देते हुए घटना की जानकारी ली।
श्री बघेल ने प्रदेश सरकार पर आरोप लगाते हुए कहा प्रदेश सरकार किसानों की लापरवाही के कारण कृषक आत्महत्या कर रहे हैं, किसान प्राकृतिक आपदाओं से लड़कर खेती कर रहे हैं। व्यथीत होकर किसान आत्महत्या कर रहे हैं किसान लोन लेकर खेती करते हैं फसल नहीं होती ,आर्थिक तंगी से त्रस्त हो जाता है, परिवार को बहुत कष्ठ उठाना पड़ता है। श्री बघेल हर संभव सहायता प्रदान करने का आश्वासन देते प्रदेश सरकार पिडीत परिवार से न्याय करने की मांग करते हुए ,खेती में नकली किटनाशक दवाओं के विक्रय पर रोक लगाने एवं तत्त्काल कार्यवाही करने की मांग किया है।
