कोविड-19 और लॉक डाउन की की परिस्थितियों में जब विद्यालय बंद है जिसमें शिक्षण व्यवस्था काफी हद तक हद तक प्रभावित हो रही है। 20 मार्च से विद्यालय बच्चों के लिए बंद है । ऐसी विषम परिस्थितियों में वालेंटियर टीचर / अतिथि शिक्षक, कोरोना वारियर की तरह शिक्षादान कर रहे हैं। 100 की दर्ज वाले शासकीय प्राथमिक शाला सेलूद में 150 से भी ज्यादा बच्चे लाभान्वित हो रहे है, इसका कारण यह भी है कि सेलूद शाला परिवार द्वारा सभी को समान रूप से शिक्षा प्रदान करने का प्रण लिया गया है फिर चाहे वह किसी भी विद्यालय का विद्यार्थी क्यों न हो।

पाटन क्षेत्र के सबसे बड़े गांव सेलूद में ग्राम की बेटियों द्वारा सफलतापूर्वक अलग-अलग वार्ड में मोहल्ला क्लास चलाकर चलाकर बच्चों के शिक्षण को आगे बढ़ाने में अपना अभूतपूर्व योगदान दिया है। इसी के परिणाम स्वरूप आज ग्राम पंचायत भवन में जनपद सदस्य खिलेश मारकंडे, ग्राम सरपंच खेमिन साहू , उपसरपंच चंद्रकांत यादव, सेलूद शिक्षा एक्सप्रेस पी एल सी अध्यक्ष रामजी देवांगन, शिक्षाविद तिवारी सर, ग्राम सचिव चंद्राकर, शिक्षक वीरेंद्र चंद्राकर द्वारा सभी वॉलिंटियर शिक्षकों को विकासखंड शिक्षा अधिकारी टी आर जगदल्ले द्वारा प्रदत्त प्रशस्ति पत्र से सम्मानित किया गया ।

समस्त अतिथियों ने इन वालेंटियर शिक्षिकाओं का हार्दिक अभिनंदन करते हुए उन्हें अब तक किये गए योगदान के लिए धन्यवाद प्रेषित किया। साथ ही आगे भी इसी तरह बच्चों के लिए शिक्षा दान करने के लिए प्रेरित किया तथा अपने साथ – साथ ग्राम को भी आगे बढ़ाने में अपना योगदान देते रहने की बात कही। सभी के उदबोधन से शिक्षिका बेटियों में नव उत्साह का संचरण हुआ। अतिथि शिक्षिका जिन्हें प्रशस्ति पत्र से सम्मानित किया गया उनमें प्रीति मानिकपुरी, खिलेश्वरी यादव, वैशाली साहू, सोनिया मानिकपुरी, मेनका पटेल, गौरी साहू, अनीता अनंत , राजेश्वरी पटेल ,हिना देवांगन, संतोषी यादव , प्रिया देशमुख, रेणुका कुर्रे, टिकेश्वरी वर्मा, तेजस्वी अनंत शामिल है। अन्य शिक्षिका साथी श्वेता यादव,पिंकी,प्राची देवांगन द्वारा भी मोहल्ला क्लास में योगदान दिया जा रहा है इनको भी इसी तरह आगे भी सहयोग करते रहने हेतु शाला प्रबंधन समिति के अध्यक्ष सुरेंद्र बंछोर, विधायक प्रतिनिधि चंद्रकुमार धनकर, शाला परिवार के सदस्य रूपा देवांगन, राजबाई द्वारा भी बच्चों के उज्जवल भविष्य की कामना तथा आगे बढ़ते रहने की शुभकामना प्रदान की गयी ।
